Aunt Wednesdays Wednesday!

Yes, I know its is Friday! But Wednesday was a good day that deserved to be shared. I dropped mom at the dr and took Corde shopping with me. My little sweetie is growing up to be like her Aunt! She LOVES yarn! I went to our local Hobby Lobby to pick up a few skeins for some special orders. Corde was in the cart and I would push her to the section of yarn i wanted while she proceeded to pull skein after skein into the cart in the colors she liked. She picked up a pretty plum, for the hat Harmony ordered, wrapped her arms around it and squeezed then she gave it a kiss! she rode all thru the store holding that shein of yarn and cuddling and rocking it like it was her baby! Finally I said to her that we needed to go look at buttons (for christening gown) she gently sets her yarn aside and said "no! me button!....... belly button!" and laughed and laughed . It was so cute to see her make a joke!! Later that evneing one of my friends stopped by and we went and had a cup of coffee at the bookstore, so relaxing, i skimmed through some new pattern books, hoping for ideas, lots of beautiful new things out there to make! Another day of being reminded once again that the biggest gifts, best joys, come from our Loving Father.He is  not just the big picture, but also in the small details! The gift of watching a little one learn to love soft yarns, learn to tell jokes, the relaxation offered over a cup of coffee with a friend..... Thank you Lord for Wednesday and also for today!

What a crazy day this has been! I have had a terrible migraine, but have had a seriously blessed day! I have had so many wonderful orders today that I am still up, boxing stuff for shipping! SHE IS STILL A MINOR!!!!

I saw the statement online "If Audy is out partying, why stop her? Why all the drama if she doesn't want to go home?

It is very simple .....LOVE!!! Love is the reason for the worry, the upset, the pleas for news  and all of these posts on Facebook.

Without KNOWING where she is, there is no way for her parents to help or protect her.  I went through a similar situation a few years ago with my daughter when she turned 18. Here is an excerpt from my journal:

                Dear God, Help!!! I am so scared! I don't know what to do I can't breathe I feel like I'm having a heart attack , I want to sleep, but I can't .......the phone rings and I think Dear God, PLEASE LET IT BE NEWS!!! Then I think please don't let it be.... I would die it something has happened to her.

Every time someone knocks on the door I think "they've found her"... then what if she is hurt of worse.... I can't survive without her" I can't seem to think anything good is happening right now. I am so afraid I will lose her. I don't know where she is, I can't see her, I can't kiss her goodnight. The fear is choking me, dear God keep her safe, protect her, help her, bring her home!!!!!!

 I went into her room today, saw her old teddy bear stuffed in a corner, her trophies on a shelf, her school books on the bed, her choir shirt on the closet door, but she isn't here.... will things ever be right again? She is hurting and I am helpless, I want to kiss away her hurts, but I can't kiss this boo boo. Lord, I can't kiss this and make it better! I know you are in control, help me dear lord to trust, please, dear God let me see my daughter again!

Bad Aunt Wednesday

So yesterday was a very busy day, I spent a lot of time on the computer and also crocheting in between office and taking mom to her Dr in Duqoin. I was sitting at the dining room table working on my laptop when Corde (16 mos) walked over and picked up my glass. She usually doesn't get much out of a straw so I didn't think much about her sipping from my cup, that is, until ten minutes later,  she handed me back an empty cup. At this point it hit me ... "Oh NO!!!! Corde just drank 10 oz of diet coke"!
*** My own daughter never got soda growing up because of the caffeine, sugar, all of it, it is so awful for them and my darling 16 month old neice just drank a diet coke that I GAVE HER!*****
So she was awake the entire drive to the doctor (30 mins away) and she played while NaNa was in the office and was WIDE AWAKE the entire way back to the house. I carry her into the house and put her down..................... at this point she starts jumping up and down, running in circles, Im feeling REALLY bad at this point........... THEN she walks over to the wall stares at it and has a complete baby discussion with it, then turns around and runs into my arms laughing! She laughed and sang the entire afternoon..... no nap...ooops! It was sooooo funny to see her dancing and spinning circles! I laughed all afternoon with her!She was in a perfectly good, hyper and energetic mood until her mama got there and she started to crash.... Uh Oh! Sorry Nancy!

Cordelah Je'Anne

Cordelah had oatmeal this morning for breakfast...as you can see! She is such a little charmer sitting in her high chair with that pretty smile and those CHEEKS! I just wanna pinch em' lol

Nothing better than a child you can love on all day long... yet you get to send home at night!
